Article 8: Registration of the Waqf

1.The beholder shall register the Waqf and all related endowed assets with the Authority within a period not exceeding (30) business days from the date of its documentation before the competent authority or from the effective date of this Regulation, through the Authority’s website.

§

2.The beholder shall update the Waqf’s data and information with the Authority within a period not exceeding (15) business days from the occurrence of any of the following cases:

§

a)Expiry of the Waqf registration certificate issued by the Authority.

§

b)Upon the occurrence of any material change affecting the waqf, whether related to the endowed asset, beneficiaries, or beholders.

§

3.For the purposes of applying the provisions of this Regulation, the Authority shall classify Awqaf as follows:

§

a.Large Awqaf

§

b.Medium-Sized Awqaf

§

c.Small Awqaf

§

d.Awqaf with direct usufruct
