The General Authority for Awqaf shall be a public agency with an independent legal personality as well as financial and administrative independence, reporting to the Prime Minister. It shall undertake duties and powers assigned thereto under this Law. Its headquarters shall be in the city of Riyadh and it may, when necessary, establish branches within the Kingdom.
